2024 Theme for Mid-Century Mod Quilts
Mid-Century Mod emphasizes the look and feel of mid-20th-century design. Artists are asked to draw inspiration from this period, reflecting on their own exposures or from the work of artists such as Joan Miro, Piet Mondrian, Victor Vasarely, Frank Stella, etc. Where did you find the inspiration for your Mid-Century Mod quilt?

Competition Calendar

June 17, 2024
Online entry submission, .jpg images, and a non-refundable entry fee for each item entered must be received online no later than June 17, 2024.

Entry Fee for U.S. Entrants: $40.00 US; includes return shipping. 

June 21, 2024
Notification of the decision of jurors and instructions for quilt shipment will be mailed to entrants on June 21, 2024.

July 18 - 22, 2024
Accepted entries must be shipped/delivered to the PIQF-designated delivery location for judging and exhibition. Shipped entries are not to arrive before Thursday, July 18 nor later than Monday, July 22, 2024.

IMPORTANT: Quilts shipped in tubes/elongated boxes require an additional $20.00 return shipping fee (include check in the shipping box).

Quilt Return
Quilts will be returned via PIQF-designated carrier only and shipped within 72 hours of the close of the Festival. The cost of return shipping will be paid by PIQF. Items will be insured for $1,000 US each on return shipping.

IMPORTANT CHANGE: Due to the complications and cost of international shipping, The Pacific International Quilt Festival is no longer accepting international entries into this competition.
