The Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival at the Hampton Roads Convention Center, February 22-25, 2018, will have an amazing collection of special exhibitions from around the county, the state and the country. This year, many quilt guilds from Virginia are taking part in M-AQF in the best way they know – by creating quilts. There will be a lot of beauty, talent and fabric in one room. M-AQF is proud to include these special exhibitions.
Included among these hometown exhibits are:
A Year of Mini-Challenges –
Peninsula Modern Quilt Guild
During 2017, the PMQG focused on education in the principles of modern quilting as a major goal. To that end, the guild had 3 mini-challenges, each focused on a different aspect of modern quilting. Pictured: Stacks of Block Blocks by Kelley Paz.
Baskets & Blooms –
